I like the little bits indicating that Emma's students are all seem to like their teacher.

I like how this Emma is a bit different; she seems to laugh a bit more (sincerely?) that in other incarnations, and in some of your AUs, there's not even an attempt to control (or recognise) "her tendencies to be an asshole". So I'm left wondering what's different in her backstory, as much as in Emily's.
