Well, this certainly brought me a lot of pre-Christmas cheer yesterday! (Didn't have time to comment until today though. Sorry!)
OMG! You have no idea how much I needed this yesterday! @_@ Do you know what kinda torture I'd been put through? One word, my friend: karaoke. Mind-numbing. Fucked up. So goddamn off key. Karaoke. Sung by a large group of middle-aged Asians for twelve fucking hours with both the mic and music blaring! And I wasn't allowed to leave for any moment of it! T_T Not like they really listened to me when I practically begged to go back to my room. My exclamation of "My God! Haven't you all drunk enough to pass out yet?!" was only met with laughter or otherwise deaf ears... It really doesn't pay to be an only child/niece/granddaughter. I must be paraded about at all these oh so joyous events... *grumble*
So, yes! Both updates were greatly appreciated by the time I was able to slink back to my room, nursing what I was sure to be bleeding eardrums and a possible lapse of sanity.
And the updates are nice and long, too! Huzzah! I enjoyed every last word! I mean, there were so many one-liners that were so completely awesome and so in-character with the people speaking them that my mind was blown! Of course, that's never a surprise when I read your fics!
I'm actually very happy that you're continuing in this part of the timeline. I always did wonder what happened in the events that preceded Boxing Day. Now, I suppose just the aftermath of Hellfire Mark 2 would be left. *grins* It'd be amusing to see what kinda offspring Emma would birth though. I mean, Emily had Didi, but she ended up more like her other mother. Kinda makes you wonder if Emma's newest addition to the family will be a miniature, blond-haired version of Emily with the awkward demeanor to match! LOL! Ah, but speaking of spawn, I must now write some drabbles, starring the evil, diabolical offspring of my special pairing (although the dangerous stunts and pranks they pull on the other dragons is just their way of having fun/showing affection). The world is so not ready for them! XD
Ah, and before I forget, you can probably expect a nice, lengthy set of drabbles before New Years. *grins* Ten pages long as of now and still going~
