It made me a little sad though. Not because of the sweetness of the fic or anything, but it was because I was reminded of the fact there weren't any fireworks in my area this year. Because of the drought down here in the South, they were banned, so it's been a pretty quiet 4th of July. Sadness...
Anyway, on to the review. I found it horribly amusing how Emma seems to be warming up to Henry! Is this a sign of things to come perhaps? Maybe she's looking to expand her brood soon! XD Lol! I'm still looking forward to seeing how you carry on that particular plot line!
I really enjoyed the symbolism at the end with the sparklers. It describes Emma and Emily's relationship rather well! It's easy to get lost in the intense passion of a relationship. Sometimes it can end as quickly as it began, and the aftermath of that can be extremely hurtful, leading some to stray away from wanting that connection again. However, for Emma and Emily, they choose to forge ahead with their sometimes unconventional relationship despite the consequences, savoring each moment while they still can.
