Poor Emily. On the other hand, it's a big breakthrough. It's true Emma says she doesn't want Emily (at least, not yet/enough), but I think Emma doesn't want anybody at this point. Emily is above everyone in that respect - Emma may not want her, but she does want her in the sense that she wants no one else to want her. Of course,t hat's convoluted and hard to see, and I doubt it's much comfort to Emily, but to me, it hints of progress. And maybe it'll eventually lead somewhere.
