Greetings!
Hello the fair few people who even visit this journal anymore. My life has been a crazy place of paper writing and moving and emotional meltdowns, so I've just been trying to stay afloat. I feel like there might be a, oh, 70% chance of me getting some fic posted next week, and if I say this aloud I'll feel obligated and might actually do it, O.o.
(I'm about 1/2 way through the next chapter of CotR, and, weirdly, I've been on a Sei/Youko kick lately - there's a reason for this. I was like, hey, you know what would be an awesome way to try and remember some japanese? Reading fanfic in japanese {with lots of help from Rikaichan}, and then I was like, hmm, why did I never post that random ramble about Youko hooking up with girls in college? And then, I recalled, because it's shit. So I was working on it. Lord, actually, going back and checking, I've realized that I'm about half way through three or four chapters of things, and jeez, I need to pick one and finish it already! Any suggestions?)
On another note, has anyone here been to Lisbon? (Or for that matter Austin?) What is one supposed to do in Lisbon? (Or Austin?) Good suggestions might help prevent another emotional meltdown! (Because I kind of hate traveling. if I can't get there on the train or in less than 6 hours on a bus, I don't want to go. If I can pretend to myself that it will be super fun, I won't melt down until I'm actually going to leave.)

Ok, so. That finale was boring fucking ass and I fucking hate Will whose face is like a hairyass vagina, but Henry is dreadfully cute and whatever, this new JJ is stupid and lame anyway. And not a hunter.
But the point is, EMILYYYYYYYYYYYY. In her dress! At the end! She looks a lot like this still from the 7th season of Gilmore Girls, but I don't know if it's my GG AU clouding my thoughts. And all those anvils about cracks in the foundation. Damn straight she totally has PTSD or whatever and she can never be the person she used to be and OH LOOK IT'S BALTHAZAR FROM SUPERNATURAL, this totally explains HOW MY MIND WORKS, my god.
But whatever, that Interpol business is some seriously boring shit. Like, I don't think working for the fucking Interpol out of fucking London, which SUCKS and is where my firm's headquarters is (bitches bitches bitches) is going to make Emily feel less ... lonely. Messed up. Instead she should have BABIES. Well, maybe one, singular. Like, instead of being a stupid spy again, she can buy a nice house with a yard and have a baby and repair on her relationship with her mom and secretly worry all the time that she's not a very good mom except SHE IS ACTUALLY AWESOME, because she would be.
Fuck this Interpol bullshit, in my head, that's what happens.
On another note, I found the perfect 5-year-old Miranda and my friend convinced me that Emily needs a quantum kindergartener. So what I'm doing is rereading City on the River and basing fanfic off your fanfic that is based off my fanfic. HOW AWESOME IS THIS?
I hope I bill enough hours this month.
(P.S. I have more FEELINGS if you want to listen, but they are all strangely het and bah, I am torn between hardcore shipping Rossi/Prentiss and Hotch/Prentiss and Dean/Sam/Emily where they live a life of demon-hunting polyamory and occasionally go undercover as reverse-gender Mormons.)

And I am very in favor of this. (As I was in favor of her moving to Leeds and having babies with her gay best friend, and am generally in favor of her being safe and figuring out how to be happy.) Honestly, these writer people sound like Emma when she's like, "The only use for PTSD people is to put them into more danger." But she was actually trying to be a jerk.

THIS IS SO AWESOME!
Oh randomness, have you read any of language_escapes' St. Trinians fic? The threesome stuff brought it to mind, but it's all really excellent, and there's even some kick ass kidfic.
It also takes the rather sketchy basis of St. Trinians and turns it into a whole real world with real people in it.

This this this! Come on, that ridiculous schpeel about "setting down roots" and everything. Woman needs something good in her life and a kid slightly prettier than 12-year-old Declan. (4-year-old Declan is acceptable though.)
All that stuff about buying a house and setting down roots . . . JUSTHAVEAGODDAMNBABYALREADY. Or Quantum Miranda.
I don't know what St. Trinian's is, but per your recommendation, I checked out that one kidfic and it was, as promised, awesome.
