FYI & Requests Round!

So, the main reason I've been totally AWOL, even though it's *summer* and I totally should be available and full of fic, is because I've been working really hard on another original project.  I have been working my ass off!  I have 60,000 words already.  If this was NaNoWriMo, i would have won.  But I am not done yet.  I am at the denouement, maybe 6000 words or so left?  And then i will be like okay, find beta readers, begin editing process, and *relax.*  And 'relax' means fic, so I really hope that very soon I will not be writing 4000 words (about princesses) a day, and will in fact, be able to produce some fic.

Stay strong!

And meanwhile, let's have a requests round.  Anyone who bothers to check this journal while it is languishing in disuse, tell me a story you want me to continue, or an idea that you think would be cool, or something that you're really mad at me for forgetting about and blowing off, and let me know.

I will do my best!

XXXOOO

Ideas? How about a steampunk AU where Emily is a bored noblewoman who uses her airship and her Letter of Marque to the fullest for fun and profit. Enter Emma, an imperious agent of Her Majesty's government ostensibly sent to inspect the ship and her captain. Secretly, however, Emma's actual mission is to entice Emily into volunteering for Her Majesty's Air Army - conscripting a noblewoman would be a political nightmare, but Emily is so damn good that she's making the actual fleet look incompetent. Adventure, angst, and romance (or at least raunchy sex) ensue.

This sounds brilliant! Damn, I want to read it. Clearly you should give it a shot. :D

For real Ambrdrgn! Write it and post it for us to find; sounds like a blast.

Sorry, I'm no writer, which is why I follow actual writers and occasionally release plot bunnies into the wild. :)

It seems like we're 'birds of a feather' in that respect. ;)
Well, please continue to inspire these lovely writers by enticing their muse with plot bunnies then. Maybe I'll get to read that story idea you mentioned since now it is out there in the wild web.
Ciao :)
