So, the main reason I've been totally AWOL, even though it's *summer* and I totally should be available and full of fic, is because I've been working really hard on another original project.  I have been working my ass off!  I have 60,000 words already.  If this was NaNoWriMo, i would have won.  But I am not done yet.  I am at the denouement, maybe 6000 words or so left?  And then i will be like okay, find beta readers, begin editing process, and *relax.*  And 'relax' means fic, so I really hope that very soon I will not be writing 4000 words (about princesses) a day, and will in fact, be able to produce some fic.

Stay strong!

And meanwhile, let's have a requests round.  Anyone who bothers to check this journal while it is languishing in disuse, tell me a story you want me to continue, or an idea that you think would be cool, or something that you're really mad at me for forgetting about and blowing off, and let me know.

I will do my best!

Um... right. It's 12:40 AM here, and I was just going to sleep when I got an e-mail about this new entry, so take waht I write here with a grain of salt.
First of all, good on you for writing, and better for apologizing and promising us fic with requests. Second, there are a ton of things I want to see (the whole Dark Avengers arc when Emma was Black Queen/double agent against Osborn in Didi-verse, is the most pressing one I can think of). But things which aren't canon that you're planning to write (such as above example), I have only two things I can think of at this time of night:
A) A fic with good Emma/Tessa interaction. There needs to be more of this, although I've found some good things already. The writers lied when they made them antagonistic. There is no way they were in the HFC together without forming a cool relationship which is not antagonistic, and I want to see it!
B) My old request, which is actually short and to the point - a sequel/epilogue to Scott's Emma. Nothing complicated, just Emma meeting Emily's team (maybe picking her up for a date?), and their reaction to the fact that Emily (who has anal sex with teenagers in clubs as far as they know) managed to get such a girl, JJ's outraged whatever, and Emma messing with them all, either by telling them the truth about that night or some equally screwy embarrassing thing for Emily/the Team. Please?
Right. Sleep. I wanted to start whining and begging. I'll probably write up a more coherent comment and request in the morning.

So, I was took the evening off, and this is what you get. :D I hope it is what you were looking for. (If not, then you've got to write it and show it to meeee.)
----------------------------

"Well, that was fast." Morgan shook his head, a little disgusted.

He could see Emily through the window, where she stood down by the car circle, with a woman, tall and casually fashionable, slinky in sunglasses and fitted white jeans with a top buttoned so low that Morgan could see all the way down her cleavage. Emily was laughing and blushing while they spoke, and then tipped her head up with an easy smile. She caught the woman by a belt-loop and tugged her in close for a whisper that turned into a kiss.

Morgan frowned deeply. Reid leaned over his shoulder and blinked. "Oh. Good for her. She looks happy."

"Good for her?" Morgan glared at him. How dare he forgive her already? "Weren't you here for the big fight? Prentiss is just being a ho, like always. I wonder if this girl will give it to her up the ass like she wants."

"Derek!" Reid looked disgusted. "I'm not defending her, but I think you're being a hypocrite."

"She banged a teenage kid in the coatroom of a club!"

"If he was in the club, he wasn't a teenager. And weren't you just bragging to me about the girl that you... banged at a club?"

Morgan glared at him. "That's different."

"Because you're a guy?"

"I wasn't cheating!"

The elevator dinged and opened. "Hey, I forgot to grab my notes." Emily charged in and headed over to her desk. The woman that had been with her stepped out and glanced around, seeming unimpressed.

Reid looked at her, and then gaped. The woman fixed him with a mirrored glare and a raised eyebrow. "Yes, I'm an X-man," she said, tone irritated. "Do you want an autograph or something?"

Morgan stared. Why had she said that?

"Oh my god," Reid gibbered. "Oh my god." Then he fell over his chair.

JJ walked out of her office and saw him on the floor. "What's wrong with him?"

Morgan shook his head. "No clue."

Then JJ spotted their visitor. She looked confused, as if she thought she recognized her, and at the same time, had never seen her before. The woman lowered her sunglasses and grinned. "Oh, how nice to see you again."

"Emma," Emily's voice was a warning.

"What?" Emma laughed. "Didn't she enjoy the show last time? I bet we can top it." She plucked a pair of handcuffs out of her handbag. Emily hurriedly felt for hers and didn't find them.

"Hey!"

"You were distracted."

"Wait," JJ said. "You... you were the one..."

"It's amazing what a strap-on and a pair of loose jeans can do."

Morgan gaped. "You were the dude she banged in the coat closet?"

"As I think you know from staring down my top for the past fifteen minutes, not a dude." She caught Emily around the shoulders and pulled her in. "But yes." She smiled like a shark. "It was rather excellent. Although I still maintain that the first time was really my best effort."

"Please."

"You lost consciousness."

"Shut up."

Emma grinned at the room. "She just passed right out on her third orgasm. It was very... validating."

Then, unexpectedly, she flipped open the handcuffs and snapped one onto Emily's wrist and the other onto her own. She tugged at it. "Now come on, darling. I have a bus of school children waiting for their tour."

Emily just sighed. The elevator door closed and they were gone.

Reid whimpered. "Prentiss is dating an X-man?"

"Was she cheating on me the whole time?" JJ stared at the elevator, disbelieving.

Morgan had no idea why they were obsessing about that garbage. Clearly, more important things were at stake. "Guys, guys. Did that woman really say school children?"

Yeah. Just perfect. Everybody responded so perfectly, it was so real, it was beautiful, amazing... you get it. I love your work.
You made one mistake, though: thanks to the last line, I am now wishing for another sequel where the team has a car chase after Emma and Emily in order to save the impressionable young children. Finally getting there, they meet the jaded children, who tell them that this is par for the course for Emma, and they've seen/heard/heard thoughts that were much worse.

Any of the below would be awesome:

A seguel to "Charity Auction"

More of "City on the River"

A fic where Emma and Emily are already together when Emily joins the FBI. (Not like "The Devil You Know" but in a monogamous relationship.)

Do you watch the tv show Covert Affairs? If you do, I would love to see a Covert Affairs/Criminal Minds crossover where Emily joins the CIA after an AU version of her canon exit. (The Irish dude was killed but Emily decided she couldn't work at the BAU anymore.)

Or if you watch Nikita, Emily joins Division which is now run by Amanda.

Ideas? How about a steampunk AU where Emily is a bored noblewoman who uses her airship and her Letter of Marque to the fullest for fun and profit. Enter Emma, an imperious agent of Her Majesty's government ostensibly sent to inspect the ship and her captain. Secretly, however, Emma's actual mission is to entice Emily into volunteering for Her Majesty's Air Army - conscripting a noblewoman would be a political nightmare, but Emily is so damn good that she's making the actual fleet look incompetent. Adventure, angst, and romance (or at least raunchy sex) ensue.

Twice in your fics (can't remember which) you've mentioned Emily's crazy ex-girlfriends and how Emma should/could do something terrible to them with Emily's blessing. So, if you could write something with Emma meeting one of Emily's ex's I would be very happy. Emma doesn't necessarily have to do anything terrible, I just want them to meet and see what happens.
Thanks muchly.

God, I wish I was even half as productive as you are when it comes to writing fics! Still, if you have to be working your ass off, at least you should do it doing something you love, right?

I'm pretty much with what everyone said about continuing with the fics that haven't already been completed yet. My top picks at the moment would be "Fake Empire" and "City on the River" in no particular order.

As for requests, I suppose I have a few.

You said you were planning on continuing the series by somehow introducing Christian, right? Geez, Emily just has a knack for running into Emma's family, doesn't she? Anyway, I think you were going to call it "Asylum" or something, and I'd honestly love to see the first chapter of it!

Emma's the CEO of her own company, right? Well, how about some office sex with Emily? Maybe Emma could even keep some "toys" (in some type of secret compartment like in those spy movies) there for whenever she comes over for some added fun. Plus, if the room isn't sound-proof, I think it'd be hilarious if Emma ended up scarring her assistant/secretary for life with her sexcapades. Additionally, if anyone wandering by tries to press a complaint later, she could just blacklist them. It's not like she doesn't have the power to do that. *snickers*

In chapter 11 of "Fake Empire", I think you mentioned Emma wanting to take Emily and Didi up to a summer home or something. Perhaps you could write a little something about that?

I have an AU idea, which is kinda based off "It's Hard to be a Man". Emily doesn't screw everything up back when Emma was a cadet, so Emma never marries Scott. Emma and Emily are in a non-exclusive relationship although Emily would like it to be. They experiment with the sex-machine a couple times, but one time they're both more than a little drunk (Emma a little more so than Emily), so they forego using protection. Emma ends up rambling about wanting to be with her. Morning after: Emma has no recollection of what she said that night, but Emily does. Flash-forward a few weeks: Emily finds out she's pregnant. When she goes to tell Emma, thinking it might be the one thing that will convince her to stay, she accidentally finds her messing around with someone else. Heartbroken, she ends up leaving off-planet to a nice, quiet place somewhere to have her kid because she want her child to end up hurt and disappointed like she did with Emma. Emma, furious that Emily left, goes to find her, but Emily's covered her tracks well, so it could take her months/years to actually track her down. How they interact when they finally meet up is completely up to you. I'd love a happy ending, but you are right: happy endings are better when they are well-deserved. I know this idea is a little far-fetched, and I haven't thought it out as much as I'd like to, but it has been stirring in the back of my mind for months now.

Other than Emma/Emily, I'd love if you did a short fic about Jubilee/Janine. From your "Christmas Spectacular" segment, it sounds like she had an interesting visit with the Kishi family!

Oo~ And how about writing something with Selene/Cordelia? They were in an established relationship of sorts from your "Danny Zuko" fic, but we didn't actually get to see the two of them interact. C'mon! You're the only person that knows about my special pairing, and you should know that those two are such a weakness for me! Pretty please!

I've been dying to see more of Sage from you though. I know I've said this some time ago, but I think she and Garcia would be cute together. They can definitely complement one another. I know that Garcia could balance out Sage's cold, standoffish behavior and somewhat social ineptitude with her fun-loving self. I may have also mentioned this, but a fic of her out-hacking Kevin Lynch to get Garcia's attention would be totally awesome! Seriously, someone like him up against Sage's abilities? No competition whatsoever!

I think that'll be it from me. I know this list is a tad long, but you said you wanted requests, right? Lol!

I know this is a bit late, but I hope your conference thing went well. It's so amazing that you got a request for a full! I'm not surprised, considering the type of talent you have, of course! I hope everything works out well for you on that end!

Wow, well, that is a lot of requests. I really loved your Hard to be a Man remix idea. It's got just the requisite amount of sleazyness and angst to be just like one of my stories. (It was very distracting. I had to write a snippet to get it out of my head this morning.) I think I'd better try and wind up the original first though, so if you want to give it a shot, I'm totally into that. :D

However, apparently your office sex idea amused me.
--------------------------------

"Oh lord," the fey man in the perfectly pressed suit jacket said, looking grim as Emily exited the elevator. "It's you again."

Emily glared back. "She called and said to meet her here. We're supposed to be going out tonight."

"You were supposed to be going out the last time too. As I recall, you went to breakfast." He grimaced. "I had to get the cleaning people to come in special, and pay extra, since apparently they had tried to tidy up the night before, but were scared off by the sounds of wild animals coming from inside."

"Then you need to do something about that mini-dungeon she had built into the sides of her filing cabinets, seriously!"

The man rolled his eyes and pressed a button on his octopoidal phone. "Your fuck-o'clock is here," he said dryly. "And I'm going to get coffee and sit at the Starbucks across the street until I see you come out the front door."

"Send her in," was the amused response, and Emily sighed. "And you can go home early. I'll forgive you."

The assistant rolled his eyes and looped his Barneys scarf around his neck. He moved towards the elevator, but paused and glanced back at Emily. "Don't get me wrong," he said. "I'm really grateful you're banging her regularly. It makes her much more pleasant to work for. I just don't need to sit here and remember those little moan-pants that my boss makes right before she comes, because that's the sort of thought process that gets one fired."

He pranced off and Emily opened the door and stepped into Emma's office. She was on the phone, her chair pushed back from the desk, her expression bored and half-annoyed. When she saw Emily she grinned briefly, held up two fingers for the number of minutes it would take, and then rolled her eyes and snapped back at the person on the phone.

Emily stood in the doorway and watched her. Business suit with a skirt, shirt rumpled, jacket off and slung over a chair. The tops of her thigh-high nylons were visible where the skirt rode up. Her hair, perfectly coiffed in the morning, was beginning to come undone and a few strands drooped down in the back, one going so far as to coil on her neck.

Their eyes met. Emma's gaze was intent, and her smile was that self-satisfied lazy one that she always got when undressing Emily with her thoughts alone. Emily stepped forward and dropped to her knees between Emma's legs. She parted them and leaned in, pressing her mouth to the inside of Emma's thigh.

For her, at least, remembering those little moan-pants that Emma made right before she came wasn't going to get her fired. Arrested, maybe, if anything like the fountain incident happened again, but not fired... At least not yet.

What a lovely ficlet to wake up to! You are so awesome!

Lol! I was hoping you would enjoy the remix idea! I love the way you write angst, and with Emma/Emily, you can always expect sleaziness to take one form or another! And you wrote a snippet about this, too?! My god, the curiosity is killing me! I wanna see!

Eh, I can always take a crack at this one, but I doubt I could write it with the sheer skill that you so clearly possess. :) I tend to be more detail-oriented with my writing, and you've got a knack for condensing scenes into a few lines and still making them flow very effortlessly.

But, um, I do have a few drabble ideas for the remix. I doubt that they'd take up much more than a page or two though. As for making it a full-length fic, well, you know how RL tends to delay the releasing of such things, right? I mean, I've got a good idea of the prologue and some of the later interaction when Emma and Emily finally meet again, but it's the in-between and actually putting it all into great scenes that I'm having trouble with.

Then, I keep wondering how I'm going to deal with the kid's personality. Since she's grown up with Emily, I doubt she's going to have the same attitude as Emma like with Didi. However, if she had another pseudo-parent, who was helping Emily raise her... Hm. This could be interesting.

Moving on though. As I've said above, I really enjoyed this little snippet! I know I pretty much bombarded you with requests, so thanks so much for taking one of them and showing interest in another!

Emma really does strike me as a rather difficult person to work for, especially if she was deprived of sex regularly if Emily weren't there. *snickers* She'd probably terrorize the staff in her subtle (or maybe not so subtle) ways, but I can see her just doing that for fun, too. If her interactions with JJ are any indication, she likes getting under people's skins.

Excellent job on Emma's assistant, by the way! I can practically see him in all his flamboyant light! And I loved the dialogue! I think it's great that you've portrayed him as not being terrified of Emma, and he actually seems comfortable with being bold and familiar with her. Of course, he knows not to push it too far. He seems to like having his job, after all!

Oh. My. God! The mini-dungeon of toys in the sides of the filing cabinets amuses me more than you could possibly know! XD I'm kinda interested int this fountain incident that was mentioned at the end though. Did I miss something in a previous fic, or is this something entirely new that we'll hear about later like the "My Little Pony" incident with Logan? Lol!

Great stuff!

Right, awake and coherent now.
So besides my earlier requests, I'm totally behind a sequel for 'Back before we were brittle', either with young Emily and Emma, or with young Emma dealing with what adult Emma left her, and maybe getting Emily.
I want Asylum, of course - we need to see the connecting story between Hellfire and Fake Empire. We also need to see more of Fake Empire, so we can get to the more advanced parts, like Places Out of Time, Sugar, Hellfire 2, Housewarming, Trust, etc. I really do want to see how a normal (well, somewhat normal) Emma/Emily relationship works, especially with Didi and her unnamed sister... especially as Didi grows up and pairs up with Laura.
I'd like to see the end for It's Hard to be a Man. I think it could be wrapped up in one/two chapters, though you know best. Same for Demons.
Wow. Long list. But those are the sequels I care about most, I suppose. That is, I want to see more of everything, of course. But out of all the options for sequels, those are the ones I'd rather you write, with a certain preference for those you could finish in a shorter period of time (such as Demons - 2 chapters, compared to an entire story for Asylum).
As for original ideas, I already wrote those in my previous comment, but I remembered one more: Cordelia. I want to see more of Cordelia's relationship with Emma, and how Emma's relationship with Emily and Didi affect Emma's relationship with Cordelia.
I think that's really all I can think of. But given how unreliable my mind is, what with studying for tests and stuff, I'm not promising anything.

I would like a sequel to Back Before We Were Brittle with young Emily having no clue how to deal with young Emma.
I would also like you to continue the Didi verse.
Also a mix of the Danny Zuko verse and cannon with Emily joining the B.A.U and maybe just not mentioning Emma because she likes her privacy and then somewhere down the line the team encounters Emma.

Hello! I enjoyed your review, and getting the favoriting! I'm not sure when I'm going to get around to actually writing the next parts, i have outlines, but they take effort to put into actual scenes. The next part is Asylum, and then there's an incident at the school that is not so thoroughly planned out. I was considering that after that the FBI would carry out an experiment and ask the X-Men to send a few 'consultants' to deal with a mutant serial killer, and Emily, since she has the most experience with mutants, is shafted to deal with it and lead the group. Emma crashes with her and they get used to each other. When the government realizes that allowing the mutants to have access to all their files and equipment is not a particularly popular idea, the secondary team is disbanded. Most of the short fics happen in the time after that, when Emily is technically not supposed to be in contact with any mutant vigilantes, but Emma is also entirely casual about dropping by for sex.
So hope for more, but don't hold your breath. I'll try, but sagas... they are hard.
(Reply) (Parent) (Thread) (Link)

Failing that I would love to see the Emma of before we were brittle meet 'her' Emily for the first time. (of course a chapter of city on the river will always make me happy if all else fails)

Honestly I will be happy whatever you write and I'm glad you are having such success with your original story :-)
