Oh. My. God! Words cannot describe how much I love Emma and her sheer wittiness and her penchant for lying just to amuse herself! And I think I melted a little inside when I read that she doesn't do that to Emily. She's actually nice with her because "she's the only one" that Emma wants!
I enjoyed how assertive Emily was in this: her wanting to take Emma against the wall; putting the Senator in her place; standing up for Emma in front of Winston. All of them were fantastic moments! It kinda gives Emma a chance to sit back and watch everything! Lol!
I think the scene where Elizabeth confronts her daughter about hitting Emma way back when was my absolute favorite! Poor Emily seemed so lost and unsure of what to do after that! It was just hilarious!
And you! You just love teasing me with my special pairing, don't you! You mention Cordelia and Selene, but I still don't get a chance to see them! *cries*
Eh, but that's alright. I'm actually curious about how they would behave in a domestic partnership of sorts in this fic's world. I mean, it's a fair bit different with the master sorceress/apprentice they have going on in mine.
Still, with her being a "sex slave" to Selene and all, I can probably just imagine Selene coming home to their swanky condo--looking over all of New York because Selene must have the best after all--completely aggravated from dealing with the sheer incompetence from her underlings of her empire only to find Cordelia lazily lounging in bed--naked no less with perhaps a collar with Selene's name/insignia on it. Cordelia stirs, stretching languidly on the sheets, showing off all her "assets" before focusing her attention on Selene. She smiles mischievously while beckoning to Selene with her bedroom eyes.
Selene forgets all about her irritation and joins Cordelia in bed. Then they have super hot sex.
