So, I'm going to be a little ranty here.  Since people here actually care, and can have conversations rather than anonymous comments.  And I'm fine if people don't like my stuff.  (I will totally keep telling myself that.)  I'm fine if there are technical problems that people want to point out.  But the fact that this relationship isn't perfect?  That's just the way it is.  I mean, a. it contains Jade.  And if I want to have her seem even mildly in character, she's going to be bitchy.  And b. The world is seriously fucked up.  Maybe this failed to come across?  I don't know.  But Omega!Jade is messed up.  She is seriously not-okay with what she is - with her body.  And that has consequences.
And okay, I'm done now.  I mean, really, this is me.  When I have ever written a relationship that is completely functional?  
And - why would I?

Soooo, I want to whine about how writing fanfic is a thankless job, but it really isn't.  I just get upset when people hate on my characters.  And I'm tired.  And I'm sick of this installment, so I'm posting it, in the hope that putting it away will make it possible for me to write the next section with some actual events and interaction besides just setting up the 3 specific erotic activities I have planned out.  What still needs to be solved in this universe?  Besides Jade needing to be punched in the face and Tori acting like a 12 year old, because those are just characterization choices and it's too late to fix them now.

JoriApologies: So, I think I've forgotten how to write fanfiction.  For a while there, I think I forgot why I write fanfiction.  And then I was sitting there yesterday, when I should have been grading papers, just writing this (crazy) fic and enjoying myself utterly.  And to be honest, I don't think the writing in this fic is brilliant.  I don't like the way I handle going over a lot of the stuff that happens in episode 1, though I rewrote that a bunch of times.  I'm pretty sure that I'm terrible at writing these characters.  But hey, new fandom, new world, and totally heavily influenced by Chash's A Fine Job of Bending All the Rules which, if you haven't read, READ IT.
