I was really blown away by the AU!Emma/Emily interaction. The rapid-fire acceleration, exaggeration and explosion of the various elements and tensions of their relationship was kind of a marvel to read. Emma's transformation, especially; I love Emma's fear of manipulation and how it nullifies in the face of Emily's simple request (that whole conversation is *beautiful*); I love that she turns the mansion into a human/mutant safe-house in the end.
