Ahh! I love it! Imperious!Deirdre/Mini!Emma is pretty much the most fantastic four-year-old ever. Sapiens brat! OMG. Mutant supremacist language. Of *course* JJ says that. And *of course* AU!Emma gave AU!JJ to Deirdre. Gah. This is too good. (Also love sensitive, cry-baby Henry... Hilarious!)

I also respect what you've done with Will here — his role in JJ's comfortable family life as well as his detective-inspired perceptiveness. This little glimpse just cements what you've already established: JJ really does have something she's happy with; she likes the predictable suburban mundanity of it and it suits her. I also love how responsive she is to Deirdre (and to Emily's freak-out) despite her lingering discomfort re: mutants and Emma in particular. I love that their friendship has resolved into something healthy.

Garcia = <3 forever, as always, and Dissociative!Hungover!Emily... Well. Yeah. She's too traumatized from her own upbringing to have any confidence at all as a guardian. I think, as much as she might ultimately like to prove she's not her mother, there's a lot of basic terror there, not to mention the whole lifestyle change that she can't even get her head around at this point. Awesome. Hilarious and awesome.

Gah. I'm really looking forward to watching this unfold. There's so much I want to know!!! We'll, um, get more insight into that phone-chucking fight, right? And Storm's (and Emma's!!!) reaction? I'll be dying from speculation in the meantime...
