Oh my goodness. So, an abrupt change of scene, but so absolutely powerful and wonderful... and I'm sure we'll get back to Didi soon enough.
Wow. The argument with Will was brutal. He's such a prejudiced ass. I mean, I remember in the early stages, when JJ was proud of the fact that she took a genetic test to be sure Henry isn't a mutant... but that was then, and being a mutant (especially if it's a visible mutation) is worse. And she's not like that anymore. I guess Will was worse than her, and just hasn't ever changed. I'm surprised Emma never said anything.
And of course, once it happened, Emma had to come, because of Christian. That was such a powerful connection - because Emma, beyond just being a telepath, able to feel his pain and help his mind, knows it. It happened to the person closest to her, and was one of the experiences that shaped her. So of course she'd do anything she can to try and help (I still want that fic where Emily and the rest meet him, though!).
Rhi was so cute, with the ponies, and Didi was even cuter, with how she was being passive aggressive about it, trying to make it bad, but Henry foiling her plans. Henry would make a great big brother. And it was just the kind of loving family time needed after Emily's talk with JJ and Emma's coming as well as her talk with Christian.
Wow. Emma hasn't that been harsh in a long time. That open, either - obviously Emily's a good influence on her. Still, she needed to get it out, and I think JJ needed to hear it. She's aware of how serious this is, but I think seeing from emma's memories how bad it could get will make certain she never lets it get worse, only better. And of course, Emma's last line was amazing.
So, JJ's in with them as well. But how will she deal with them when they start having sex like crazy again? I suppose they lower the tone for the girls, though. Can't wait for more.
