You're back! You've been greatly missed on the writing scene!

I felt like a jerk because I was laughing to myself while reading this chapter, and that was due to the fact that I realized something: Emily has a very large tendency to get herself hurt and/or in trouble in your fics! I should clarify that the fact that I was laughing had little to do with seeing Emily in pain and more to do with the fact that I somehow didn't realize just how accident-prone she really is.

Of course, that's not always a bad thing. I mean, we get to see scenes of Emma coming to the rescue (Yeah, doc, I'd love to see you challenging Emma to get Emily to stay in the hospital!)! It's not as if we'd get to see Emma in physical pain like that very often. She's Emma Grace Frost for God's sake! Granted, she may get drunk out of her mind and become a complete ass to Emily because of it, but she usually doesn't get into accidents like that.

I'm digressing again.

I love the scene with Emma and Benji toward the beginning! Emma actually expressing guilty over somehow hurting Emily: always a nice touch.

The hospital scene was my absolute favorite part of this chapter! It's clear that even though that Emily is trying to distance herself from Emma to prevent herself from being hurt, she still needs her for comfort and support.

Oh, but I'm so completely ecstatic that Emma and Emily made up! I was honestly worried after that last chapter! Emily was just so hurt and broken, and I almost believed that she wouldn't want Emma to stay even after Didi left! But they're together (well, not exactly) again, and I'm so happy!

Now then, how goes that fic that includes my special pairing? :D
