I’m a long –term-lurker, but I thought it’s about time I “delurk” and tell you how much I enjoy your writing and that this is one of my favorite stories. I think it’s the first time that Emma realizes that maybe Emily is as broken as she is, if not even more. She is even more isolated then Emma (she has at least “friends” she can talk to, or who force her to talk if she wants or not). And I like that fact, that Emma not only needs Emily, but wants her too. Now she only needs to realize that she loves her too (yeah I know this will take some time). But what makes your stories a “joy” (I chose this word in lack of a better one) to read is your writing style. It reflects the characters perfectly. It’s minimalistic, only describing what’s necessary, but never too much. Always leaving blanks just like the characters do.
p.s.: It's frustrating that I don't find better words as a non-native speaker.
