'Woobie' is, say, canon Reid in CM. The one loads of bad stuff happens to despite them being so loveable, who the audience just wants to hug. It's not a 100% accurate definition of what I was saying, but I was just hoping you wouldn't end up heaping an unbelievable amount of suffering on Emily and almost define her by it. Maybe not to that extent, since I have faith in your writing, but basically I didn't want to end up rolling my eyes. Which is mainly because I'm allergic to woobie, so anything remotely woobie-ish makes me turn off the TV/laptop.
But that doesn't matter, becase you didn't go there, and you instead wrote real people. Er, fanfiction about fictional characters created by real people. Yes.
