I believe French language teachers have a special propensity to be knocked up. It's possibly because they're all enrolled in a program to make Human Cheese, and thus must be lactating. (Or not.)
I will try not to delve into woobie territory. I do want something exciting happen, but I believe Emily needs to be the hero of her own story At Least Once. I will poke it a bit and see how it goes.
I'd need prostitutes if I were going to do Jack the Ripper, perhaps the Terror?
