I especially loved Emma's reaction when she found out Didi called her; it was great to see the X-Men's reactions as well to that! I do sympathize with Emily though. I mean, I don't think I'd have enough energy to keep up with a child after doing work like she does, and it's clear that Didi is quite the active child... O.o Still, it was amusing to see the sudden shift in personality in Emma when the phone call ended, putting everyone in their place afterwards.
And oh my god! Winston went and kidnapped Didi?! That bastard! >< I'm glad that Emily gave him a good punch for it! Uh, but did he have plans for Didi, or did he just want to see if Emma and Emily were really her parents!
I'm kinda sad that Emma still isn't ready to take complete control of her life where Winston is concerned. She's such a strong character that sometimes it takes me by surprise that she still has such vulnerabilities outside of her relationship with Emily.
I think the babysitters are incompetent. I know that Didi's quite the difficult child, but seriously? One of them actually believed she was gonna be whipped because a four-year old said so? Still, that's three babysitters out the door. Even if Emma just finds the whole thing amusing, I think she's also very proud of that fact. *snorts* Didi's a mini-Emma indeed! X3
And Jubilee's back! <3 God, seeing her use her powers in this chapter makes me sad, considering that she lost the use of her powers after the events of M-Day. Still, she'd make an awesome babysitter!
This was a great chapter overall, and I can't wait for the next installment.
Oh, by the way, I believe Raene's name is supposed to be spelled Rahne. ^^
