JJ was very much insane in this chapter. I think she will go back to normal once she remembers exactly what Didi is like. (Which will be very soon. Didi was jet-lagged and needed to catch up on her sleep. Well rested, she will return to being the terror of the Spanish Main.)
Working on a fic is a good excuse. I don't even read anything when I'm going on one, much less respond. But yay for long comments!
