Emily had always thought that she looked more like Emma, at least she always looked at her in that same way that Emma had, a little distrustful, but mostly like she was being stupid, again.
Lol! Well, we both know who Didi takes after! Great line though! Emma and Didi both know how dense Emily can be, and they both know that it's not a temporary thing to be expected once in a blue moon! XD That makes it all the more hilarious though!
*gasps* And how dare this Katie try to come between my OTP!? Where does she go assuming that Emma couldn't possibly be Emily's girlfriend!? ...Nevermind the fact that Emily denied the claim at first, but that's just her usual socially-awkward stupidity talking. >>;
On a slightly unrelated note, I'm obviously not a huge fan of your OC, but I did love character you based her on. Despite being on the show for only a short time, I thought Jordan was great. It didn't hurt that I detected some slight subtext between her and Emily during an episode where they were both undercover in Atlanta. *grins blissfully* Emily was so sexy when she put that pick-up artist in his place!
I thought Didi was wonderfully precocious in this chapter. Lol! I loved how she just naturally assumed that Katie was a slave/spy and wanted Emma to kill her off.
Oo~ Speaking of Emma, I thought she was absolutely fantastic here! She put aside her usual apathy and really started giving honest emotions when she assumed that Emily was beginning to put her aside in exchange for someone else. And LOL! It was so hilarious that Emily was being totally oblivious to the fact that she was dating another woman for weeks and didn't even know it! XD Still, I felt bad for Emma because she was dealing with that insecurity in that same period, and Emily didn't notice.
"You really think she's interested in me?"
"Oh my god, Emily! You can't be that obtuse!" Emily looked helpless. "Oh," Emma groaned. "I forgot, you can."
Oh, what you have to put up with, Emma. X3 But it's alright! You love your girl, even when you won't admit it!
Aw~ I loved the little, desperate hug that Emily gave Emma. She really doesn't want her to leave. I think the fact that you included that Emily wouldn't be able to let Emma go even after she found something better in life was brilliant. Hopefully, that will inspire Emily to make a move, but considering how dense she can be, that might not happen soon. ^^; I'm sure that however you handle that situation will be hilarious. If not, I'm sure it will be touching, nonetheless.
This was a great read to come home to after I finished the first of four finals. I have two more days to got, and then I'll be free to enjoy reading your fics without feeling that I'm procrastinating on my work! XP (Nah, I'd read your fics even if I were buried in essays!)
