Love the "checkerboard" statement in the A/N. I looked right and was like, "Oh, I get it; I didn't realize 'that' was her system/schedule." Rugby: fun! If it's you playing, be safe, and if not, don't get run over by Rugby players plowing over the sidelines (or just plowing over the keg) Good and memorable chapter; Emma's so used to things being messed up that she can't seem to let herself be happy. I also get the 'bragging rights' and how she used that as an excuse and justification, but it makes sense for that teenage check-mark to feel important too.
