Oh how I missed you so! Thanks for pumping this baby out (ew), even for 30 minutes from time to time; worth the wait as always!
I liked that you had the time switch as stated here: suggesting that she had actually been swapped from the past for their Emma, rather than her being Emma suffering from an age regression
When 'our' Emma came back and mentioned that she would have free reign to go at it with a younger Emily should the roles reverse, my mind went into an amusingly absurd side-story of the two (if they were ever to marry) coming up with their wedding vows..."I swear that if your younger-self ever switches with your current-self, I won't sleep with her, only kiss her if she's at the age of 17 or younger...with the clause that should your current-self be gone for more than a year, and/or should your younger-self do that thing that you do that you know I can't resist..."; oh the fun the lawyers would have in trying to wrap their pens and their logic around that one.
Thanks for sharing and try not to be too down on yourself about writing; I'm no writer-writer, but I think sometimes a wee break is necessary, especially with life's hectic randomness in the mix; I'm just amazed that you've written as epically as you have thus far :D You rock!
