Thanks for posting this! I've had a rather hectic week as my mind tried to wrap itself around the new schedule I have which involves four classes over four days out of the week, my duties as president of my honor society, my involvement as a mentor/tutor in a program for first-time in college students, and my being a part of a student-help group.
That said, let's just say that you really made my day--er, or evening, really--with this!
I've been wondering what kind of crazy antics you were going to put these two through next! I'm definitely not disappointed with the route you took! As the first reviewer mentioned, it was rather intense! Nothing is ever easy with these two, whether it's just the two of them snapping at each other or fate just decides to interfere in their plans! Damn if I didn't enjoy it all though! Always makes for an interesting read!
I gotta say, my breath caught in my throat when they were stopped by soldiers. Then, I was practically blue in the face when both--or just Emily as the case was--were captured! You really know how to build up suspense!
Ah, but I was definitely enjoying myself when E2 finally got it on in this fic! I was a bit worried about the soldiers finding out that Emma was really a woman because of the little window they had access to, but you dealt with that scenario really well. As for the act itself, there was nothing really sweet about it because of the situation Emma and Emily found themselves in and the fact that they still hold a certain level of animosity toward one another, but it was definitely pleasing in its own way!
All in all, I really enjoyed these last two updates!
Glad to see that school isn't keeping you too busy to write (unlike me...)! I hope grad school's going well for you in your second(?) year now!
