I actually forgot to mention this earlier, but I'm really liking the new layout you have for you LJ! It's brighter and a bit simpler in design, but it has a certain charm to it!
Oh, tell me about it! After this first week was through, I was racking my brain about what kinda studying schedule I was going to have to keep in order to possibly fit all the material I have to read for each class.
I have two MW classes that last from nine to three along with an online class on W, and then there's just one class I have on TTH. That one lasts from 9:00-10:20AM, but then I have meetings for my honor society at noon on T, which typically last about half an hour or so.
And congratulations on being made the junior conference coordinator! That sounds awesome even though it seems that you constantly have to be thinking on your feet if you don't want to fuck anything up! Because of my position, I'm constantly in charge of making sure that whatever event that my chapter has around the campus/community is always carefully planned out to the last detail: set up by such and such time, make an inventory of all the supplies, find volunteers to help out, make sure supplies get to such and such location, make sure that all the supplies go back where they need to be after an event, etc. Sounds like common sense, right? Well, you'd be surprised what kinda chaos can occur with so many people working together! Believe me, if I screw up in any way, everyone would be after my head! Thank God I'm so meticulous when it comes to planning!
LOL! Dude, don't kill yourself with your own schedule just because I somehow like playing masochist with mine! XD
I actually ended up dropping a class myself. I'm not sure that's really all that better because I'm taking this Leadership Development Study course on Facebook, which is really like a class all by itself because of all the reading and research you have to go through. I actually took it over the summer and completed it, and my chapter advisors informed me that I was the first person in like ten years to really finish it! Ah, but the reason I'm taking it again is because I'm hoping that other members will be participating as well so that I can learn everything over again while also helping them out through the readings in each chapter in order to do the online discussions(so it's basically like I'll be teaching). I mean, other than the textbook you have to buy, it's completely free to everyone and you learn all about the profiles and leadership styles of various leaders around the world as well as acquire interpersonal and professional skills among other things. That, and it also looks really great on your transcript/resume.
My friends think I'm completely insane because of my schedule. Are you familiar with this feeling?
Glad to see you're feeling better about your writing! Seriously, with your type of talent, it's really not all that hard to get hooked on whatever you write!
ANDOHMYFUCKINGOD! Are you serious?! You really included my special pairing!? I so fucking love you right now!
I must have it! God, I'll have your babies (those linguistic-experts-with-a-tendency-to-overload-in-impossible-schedules babies) if you'd just let me see it!
Of course, if it only includes them as a very brief mention like with your latest addition to your "Danny Zuko" series, I have the right to deny you any possible progeny from me.
