Your comment on Demons was my favorite, and I'm really glad you gave High D'Haran Love Poetry a shot. I'm actually the exact opposite of you, I usually get to know fandoms through the fic, (and then when i actually watch or read I'm usually disappointed.) But maybe it's a little freeing. Taking Latin poetry and switching Caesar with Lord Rahl? Why not?

Honestly, at some point I'm going to have to stop being a total tease with CotR and actually have a resolution. Or I have to start a new complicated subplot, because, even if they do get together and are finally happy with decent mental health and friends and sensible life plans and things, it's been building so long that the resolution is probably going to be a huge letdown. *sigh*
