Apologies:  Sorry!  This took me forever to get around to filling in the holes, and I didn't proof after I was done, so I'm sorry!  But yay!  Done!  So what do you think of my take on 'the bet'?

Summary: Emma Frost doesn't like to lose.  But the new girl, Emily Prentiss, might be a little more difficult to win over than she expected.  A bet with Sebastian putting her ass on the line, literally, Emma will pull out all the stops to get what she wants, visual evidence included.

Apologies:  So, someone asked for New Years fic, and someone else complained about the lack of smut in Fake Empire (which is PG-13 for a reason!  Small children!)  and then I was reading the Glee big bangs.  And... this happened.  Yeah, I got hit by a nasty cold, so I've been awol.  But comment, please!  I work harder when you do.  And this chapter got long.

Summary: Emma Frost doesn't like to lose.  But the new girl, Emily Prentiss, might be a little more difficult to win over than she expected.  A bet with Sebastian putting her ass on the line, literally, Emma will pull out all the stops to get what she wants, visual evidence included.

I hate this story.  I have always hated this story.  You just sit there and wait for the horrible cringeworthy moment where the duplicity is revealed, and then the guy grovels, and most of the time I'm like, 'Dude!  What are you thinking!  He's an ass!  Don't forgive him!"  So the other day, I was reading along in the Glee version of this traditional tale, and got to the terms of the bet, and finished the terms of the bet, and then frowned.  "But," I thought, "Santana didn't say that Rachel wasn't allowed to just rape her.  Honestly, you'd never get away with that if it were Emma."  And then I wrote a vaguely pornographic teen movie.  I'm sorry.

 You know, if no one comments on this, I'm just going to have to accept the fact that I'm a terrible person who repulses everyone with my fiction and should seek psychological help.  This is probably true regardless.

Apologies: oh god, I never know whether these are completely awful or kind of okay when i write them.  I think I failed on the funny part as well, but hey, hopefully the mess that is Emma's head is slightly less opaque now.  I don't even know.  But hey, I have turned my outline into scenes!  Yay.  :(  Yeah, I really need Emily's reaction to this chapter.  So that's next, but don't hold your breath.  And I've probably screwed up somewhere in this, since Chapter is Long, so just let me know and I'll try to get it sorted.

Apologies: I'm so so so sorry that this took so long to write.  AND it's not even totally finished yet.  This is Chapter 15 part 1 (about 4000 words), which is really only the set up for part 2.  I wanted to wait and post them together, and I'm really planning on working on it this weekend (particularly because I have a sh*tload of homework, yay for procrastination.) But I've edited this one about six times, and if I don't post it now I will just keep editing it and never get on to Part 2 (which is supposed to be the funny part, while this one is more angsty.)  So, um...
