I don't read Omegaverse fics because I don't not interested in m/m or mpreg. But I am interested in f/f and fpreg and I've seen a few Victorious episodes and definitely see Jade/Tori. I really enjoyed this fic. You really nailed their voices that Tori would be the most omega alpha and Jade would be the most alpha omega.

I am curious: why did you decide to post at FFN and not here?

:) Yes! I get so bored with m/m and mpreg, but I love the dynamics, and I want there to be more girls. (And actually it was last night that I slowly put it together that if you can fuck with the biology enough to have mpreg, fpreg is kind of a given. There may be a future one-shot about this.)

I went for FFN first because that's where the most active fandom is, I think, and then I didn't feel like copy-pasting it again. That's all! (Also, the last time I posted a Nick-fic it was, mm, filthy porn, and I stuck it up on P&P and ralst was like, 'hell no, pedophilia!' Even though I had visualized it as a future fic, it did not show up in the text, so it deserved to be taken down. I'm trying to be more careful for this one.)

Chapter 2: Jade meets another alpha omega (Mama Vega) and digs it! It was still a douche move for Jade to act like Tori hit her -- that affects Tori's grades, dude, her college application. And Tori might have started to get a clue that Jade is not in fact another alpha female.

Gah, and I was doing so well with not adding another ship to my list! I've seen this pairing often enough on my Tumblr dashboard; I don't even watch the show since I'm normally too busy to do so, but from the gifsets I've seen? They're so slashable!

My friends have been trying so hard to get me to ship them, and I've held off so far, but who and goes and push me off the edge? One of my favorite writers and sole recipient of my dragon smut ficlets. ;)

But OMG! YES! A millions times yes for knotting! It's like a biological kink for me besides certain wickedly-curved and ridged appendages on dragons. ;P

Speaking of which, expect a little present from me probably around New Year's or something. I feel bad for depriving you from dragon smut for so long. Lol.

And I apologize greatly for practically dropping off the face of the Earth! I was swamped with school and relationship issues last year. The latter's been taken care of, thankfully (I should have known better than to include drama into my life, but that's love, eh?) but I think my professors like killing me with the workload they give out. Okay, next time you do this I will actually check that you're not dead, because I just figured, hey, one of two options if I write fic for someone and they Never Respond is either - oh wow, it sucked a lot more than I thought it did - or, must be dead. Note that I am actually pleased it was the former.

It was totally the gifsets that got me into this. I was like, what? Seriously? That happened? So I watched an episode, and then was like, oh yes it happens, and their drama teacher so ships Jori. :) And apparently if you give me a pairing where one of the characters is Incredibly Bitchy, I'm just THERE.

I have the Chash knotting fics on podiobook and I have listened to them so many times. They hit so many of my kinks - especially the 'world building and gender issues' kink. And the weird power dynamics kink. It was only a matter of time. (And the fact that I had so many papers to grade and two days of nothing but student conferences that I needed something that was a total break. This was it.)

And let me say YES to dragon smut, or whatever else you feel like sending me. :)

Good to see you back! Relationship drama sucks, as does excessive school! And being one of the professors now (well, sorta), I can say, yes, we love torturing our students with work. It is our favorite thing. (Actually, this is totally false, because the more work we give, the more we have to grade, and we HATE grading.)

But seriously, did you post it here on LJ or was it sent to my e-mail? I remember something about receiving two different dragon ficlets from you--one with a het pairing and the other a kinda one-sided femslash pairing--but I could've sworn I replied back to it.

Lol! Yeah, Tumblr has a way of drawing me into various ships and fandoms without even trying. For instance, I got suckered into Glee after having never seen a single episode before, but I ended up shipping Faberry, Fapezberry, Faberritana, and Quinntana (although those last three ships had more to do with the fics I read than anything else).

Speaking of which, I finally broke free of my writer's block, and now I'm in the process of writing a decent-sized Faberry smut fic as a Christmas for an artist on Tumblr that also ships the pairing. X3 Mmm~ Smut. It's all thanks to this one NSFW pic she made, which combined Faberry with the concept of Beauty and the Beast. Let's just say, my mind took over from there. Lol. My fic should be out by Christmas with any luck. :)

As for your present, I'm just hoping to get it done by your birthday. :P

I've been so good this year. I wrote like NO fic, and instead spent all my sneaky writing time working on a novel (which, okay, is kind of an über Emma/Emily fic, just with Too Much worldbuilding). I did, however, end up encountering a bunch of new fandoms that I was ONLY going to participate in as a reader. Ah, well, the best of intentions. And Tumblr... (Which I'm not even ON!)

Mmm, Faberry. I feel kind of proprietary over the Faberry ship, since I was there for the naming of the pairing, and since I wrote an article on how FPNs are formed, which is supposed to be being published (though I worry that it has gotten abandoned at some sad stage of production), I am very supportive of this effort. Although even fic writers have a really hard time making Rachel actually likable. :/ I got converted to Quinntana at some point, and it is still my ideal ship out of that crazy fleet.

I think my favorite Quinntana fic is "A Day Late and a Dollar Short" by oatis on AO3. It's probably because it reminds me a bit of your fics in the sense that it has that requisite amount of angst before the couple becomes established.

And I can't stop gushing over this Jori fic of yours! Naughty thoughts keep going through my head every time the subject of knotting comes up. I have this pleasant image of some male alphas giving Jade a hard time because she "settled" for a freaky, female alpha, but she snaps back with a quip about Tori's knot being larger than the heads on their shoulders. (I have it in personal canon where it's the size of a small cantaloupe maybe? I have this thing where the most unassuming and dorky characters are somehow blessed in ways their colleagues wish they were. Lol.) Meanwhile, Tori's just looking all sorts of comically horrified with her personal business just being put out there by her omega mate.

I'm kinda craving fruits now, but whatever.

All this talk of knotting makes me want to include it in my dragon fics though. Then, my dragons would have curved, ridged appendages with knots at the base! :D Then again, they already have that cum plug thing going on to help with impregnation. Whaddya think? Overkill maybe? Worse comes to worse, it would make for nice optional kink when sexy times are happening.

Who else was I going to write Selene/Cordelia for? :) And somehow, in that world I felt like it was totally plausible. Emily was still feeling out her sexuality. But Cordelia tops from the bottom. She can handle Selene.

Oh man, I think you're going to be disappointed with where I'm going with the knotting, but Jade would totally say that, regardless of it's accuracy. And I'm glad that I don't like cantaloupe anyway, because I will NEVER be able to eat it again. Jeez.

And yes, knotting in your dragon fics is totally overkill. What you need in your dragon fics is more plot. :) However.... shapeshifters. I think you could manage knotting without any real revision of the system. But dragons are reptiles. You may just need to start a werewolf world to satisfy this particular desire. Biological coherence!!! It's important! (Why do you think my mermaids ended up being half dolphin?)
