Summary: Tori Vega is starting an exciting new school, Hollywood Arts, but she has a secret. She's a female alpha, naturally dominant and aggressive.  If anyone finds out, her life will hardly be worth living. In addition, Alphas sense when an omega goes into heat, but that doesn't mean she wants an omega - especially not a girl omega. Biology isn't destiny, right? Jori

Warnings: This is a Knotting world - because knotting is hilarious and kind of gross - so be prepared.  And... maybe a touch of gender politics.

Angst? What angst? I know I'm weird, but honestly, I found these chapters great. The information was not as creepy as last time, and they were a lot funnier than I expected: Drunk Jade, Beck discovering Tori was an Alpha (favorite line: "We're 5% of the population!" Tori yelled back. "I exist!"). The only bits of angst I found was when Jade's dad hit her, and a bit in the negotiation with Gavin. But Gavin was rather free-thinking for an alpha Jade's dad approves of, seems willing to give Jade a large bit of freedom (especially compared to her father) and I know it's horribly inappropriate, but I liked his reaction to Jade's words about a female alpha. Although I still hate this world. I mean, where else would a sentence like "How about we give you vetoes" (as if 'we' should have to) seem progressive?
And the last part wasn't angst either, it was just Jade being awesomely bitchy and trying to keep Tori safe from her dad or Gavin, and really more of an 'oh shit run!' moment. It was an awesome end to two great chapters. Can't wait to see the shitstorm.

Tori's mom's reaction to Tori's dad teaching her how to fight was hilarious.

The whole scene with Jade and Tori at Cat's was AWESOME.

Interesting that female alphas are 5% population. Saying there's 6 billion people in the world, that's 300 million. That's a really big number for people to doubt female alphas exist.

I know that Jade did the announcement thing so Tori would stay away from Jade so that Jade's father wouldn't kill Jade or Tori. But still, whoa...

Re Chapter 10: HOLY FUCK! Also, FUCK to a cliffhanger! You're killing me -- I'm really worried that now Jade's father will KILL Jade and Tori.

Off to re-read where you explained to me who becomes Jade's responsible alpha now.

I just looked it up and you said chemical mating can be broken and Jade's father gets to decide that. So he's going to do so and try to give Jade back to Gavin -- possibly. Or just kill Tori and Jade.

I really shouldn't have read Chapter 10 before you posted Chapter 11.
