 My computer had to be rushed to the emergency room today. (i.e. the apple store).  The lady was going to make me come back on tuesday, but i started to cry, so it went in for its operation today.  I think i lost a lot, if the harddrive isn't recoverable.  i don't know how much i lost because my backing up was horrifically sporadic.  I got most of my novels out, but not so successful with the fic.  As it was i had written about half of the next chapter of Emily's Notebooks and it shouldn't be too hard to put that back together.  It will probably be up in a few days if i can get access to a computer.
Still, I'm depressed, and f*ing pissed at myself for not backing up better.  Christ.

Ouch. At least you've got several-paged novel - that's the important thing, right? Hope all goes well with your computer and fic recovery.
