Summary: Tori Vega is starting an exciting new school, Hollywood Arts, but she has a secret. In addition, Alphas sense when an omega goes into heat, but that doesn't mean she wants an omega - especially not a girl omega. Biology isn't destiny, right? Jori

Warnings: This is a Knotting world - because knotting is hilarious and kind of gross - so be prepared.  BUT PG-13 (for now)  And... maybe a touch of gender politics.

After much consideration, Tori had decided that probably the entire viola section of the orchestra were omegas - or maybe you just got bullied for playing the viola.

I'm glad you showed Tori's family's reactions to the fight. I love Tori's dad being so proud.

Tori finally realizes that Jade is an omega and they kiss -- yay! It really was a beautifully written scene.

I do have some questions.

Based on the first paragraph of the Wikipedia entry, Tori and Jade have mated, correct?

I'm still confused when mating happens. For example, in the cafeteria scene you mention "top alphas [...] a couple with clingy omega girlfriends" -- are those alphas mated to their omega girlfriends? Anytime an alpha fucks an omega does this mate them? (The part about synthesized chemicals to induce a mating heat confused me.)

Question about this paragraph: "Jade stormed out of the closet. What the hell did she have to do? She would have given it up in the god damned janitor's closet like some kind of whore." Are you saying Jade wanted Tori to fuck her here? And she's angry that Tori didn't?

I'm very worried about Jade -- that she'll go home and her father will be able to tell that she's mated and beat Jade into an inch of her life. Hopefully, the worst he'll do is kick Jade out of the house and she'll have to move in with Cat.

So, well, actually, no, Tori and Jade aren't mated... yet. Mating heats are rather infrequent - especially in stressful situations, like, mmm, high school. Pretty much no one in high school is mated. Even for adults in committed relationships, mating heats aren't guaranteed, which is why the chemicals were developed so that people could choose their mates. Things I have failed to make clear. *sigh*

Jade is currently not thinking entirely with her brain. :) She wants what she wants, and she's angry at not getting it, but when she comes to herself she will probably be glad that she didn't get knotted in the janitor's closet. Maybe.

I don't want you to give me hints about the plot. I just want my predictions in writing so if they come true I can say: "I knew it!" :)

I will... try to answer that in story. But one reason was that it wasn't a shock for him. He's been going to school with Jade for a couple of years. You get used to the way people smell, especially if you're not really into them.

I enjoy your predictions immensely! Though I'm always going either 'oh no, I've been rumbled?' or 'what? where on earth did that come from?' :)

So does Jade have a knot or...'knot'? Ok bad pun lol but does she have some extra equipment down south we don't know about or what? How would a female alpha knot another female? o.0
